‘You Can’t Buy Love, But You Can Adopt It’: BrightSide Animal Center offers $14 Valentine’s Day adoption fee

REDMOND, Ore. (KTVZ) -- The BrightSide Animal Center nonprofit animal shelter in Redmond invites the community to spread the love this Valentine’s Day by adopting a furry friend during their special “You Can’t Buy Love, But You Can Adopt It” adoption event on Friday, February 14th, from 10:00 AM to 5:30 PM.

For one day only, all cats and dogs will be available for adoption at just $14! This special fee provides an incredible opportunity for families to find their perfect companion while supporting the shelter's mission of connecting homeless animals with loving homes.

This Valentine’s Day, BrightSide Animal Center hopes to help both shelter animals and members of the community find their forever love and make a meaningful connection that will last a lifetime. With a variety of animals available for adoption, there’s a new best friend waiting for you at BrightSide Animal Center.

Mission: BrightSide Animal Center is a high-save shelter dedicated to providing sheltering, placement and prevention services to reduce animal homelessness and unnecessary euthanasia.

  • To come prepared: If you rent, have landlord approval or your lease available. If you have other dogs at home, please bring them along for the meet and greet. It’s recommended to bring all members of the home for the meet and greet if able (especially any children under 13).
