BEND, Ore. (KTVZ) -- The magic of winter and the power of community came together once again at 2025 Bend WinterFest, raising an impressive $10,300 for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Oregon.

This annual celebration isn’t just about winter fun—it’s about giving back, and this year’s contribution continues a strong tradition of supporting local nonprofits.

Lay It Out Events, the organization behind Bend WinterFest, has now donated more than $60,000 to BBBSCO over the years, reinforcing its commitment to helping Central Oregon’s youth through mentorship and positive role models.

BBBSCO, a 21 Cares for Kids partner, currently serves over 200 youth across Central Oregon, providing them with mentorship programs that create opportunities for personal growth, academic success, and outdoor adventure. This year’s donation will support mentor training, outreach efforts, and enriching experiences, giving young participants the chance to build confidence and community.

The 2025 Bend WinterFest, held in the Old Mill District, welcomed over 20,000 attendees for a weekend of live music, jaw-dropping ice sculptures, thrilling competitions, and the return of the Winter Wine Walk. This year’s festival brought unforgettable performances, family-friendly attractions, and adrenaline-pumping contests like the Pump Bump Contest and the Hot Cocoa Run.

"WinterFest is all about celebrating the season and bringing people together," said Aaron Switzer, Event Producer at LIOE. "But what makes it even more special is the opportunity to give back to organizations like Big Brothers Big Sisters, whose work makes a lasting impact in our community."

As Bend WinterFest continues to grow, so does its commitment to giving back. Lay It Out Events remains dedicated to ensuring its events do more than entertain—they strengthen and uplift the local community.
