Wildfire Prepardness Fairs planned around the region in coming days

BEND, Ore. (KTVZ) -- The Central Oregon Fire Prevention Cooperative is beginning the second half of their second annual free Wildfire Preparedness Fair Series.
There will be information on wildfire prevention education, expert tips for protecting your home, rallying your neighbors to join the Firewise program, the current home insurance climate, staying safe when smoke is in the air, planning for evacuation, and more.
The public is invited to join in these events to learn about crucial strategies and resources to stay safe during wildfire season.
Engage with representatives from local fire departments, county health agencies, emergency management, state agencies and land managers who will provide resources and answer questions on topics including wildfire safety, emergency kits, evacuations and community action plans.
