Fred Meyer offering ‘stress-free’ back-to-school immunizations – no appointment needed

PORTLAND, Ore. (KTVZ) -- As families gear up for a new school year, Fred Meyer is making it easier than ever to check a major item off the back-to-school to-do list: required vaccinations.

Parents can now get their children immunized without an appointment, including evenings and
weekends, at all Fred Meyer pharmacy locations.

Whether you’re shopping for crayons, clothes or lunchbox essentials, Fred Meyer makes it easy
to take care of immunizations in the same trip—convenient, quick, and all in one stop.

  • COVID (yearly)
    Elementary and middle school:

  • HPV
    Junior high and high school:
  • Meningitis
    Meningococcal conjugate (2nd dose at age 16)
    Serogroup B Meningococcal (ages 16-18)
  • HPV (only if not previously received)
  • Flu (yearly)
  • COVID (yearly)
