Wanderlust Tours ‘Fall Forage’ brings you closer to nature and the food it provides

BEND, Ore. (KTVZ) -- Wanderlust Tours is offering a unique culinary adventure this fall with its “Fall Forage to Table” experience. The event, scheduled for October 18th, features a guided foraging hike where participants will learn to identify edible ingredients in the woods, including sought-after chanterelle mushrooms. Anything found on the hike will later become part of a four-course meal, prepared by the chef of The Lucky Woodsman.

The dinner emphasizes local and naturally grown ingredients, and participants enjoy their meal in the same woods where the food was foraged. Marketing Manager Jay Geib shared, “ I think the coolest thing that we hear from our guests is we'll get a lot of folks that don't know each other and you start off being strangers and by the end of the meal you're all friends having a great time out in the woods.”

Tickets are $270 per person, and only about ten spots remain for this exclusive event. Wanderlust Tours expects the remaining spots to sell quickly. More information is available on its website under “Fall Forage to Table”.
