Furry Friends: Gus the gorgeous guy loves to play fetch

REDMOND, Ore. (KTVZ) -- This week's Furry Friend is Gus, a 3-6 year old Pit Bull mix looking for his forever home at Brightside Animal Center in Redmond.

Gus was brought in as a stray but quickly warmed up to the team at the shelter. He loves people and wants all of the attention!

"We do know now he is obsessed with toys. He loves his treats and he is a big fan of getting all the butt scratches that he can," said Hannah Loftis, the shelter manager at Brightside. "Some of the big things about him is he is more preferable for his own time. He's not a big fan of other friends, though he does have some, he does like to have more of the attention to himself."

Gus has done incredibly well meeting people, both kids and adults.

He would do best in a home where he's the only dog.

If you're looking for the perfect companion to cuddle up, head on down to Brightside Animal Center in Redmond to meet Gus. They're open Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. Click here to find his profile on Brightside's website.
