Furry Friends: Handsome Hank loves his toys, attention, and peanut butter!
REDMOND, Ore. (KTVZ) -- This week's Furry Friend is Hank, an 11-month-old bull terrier mix looking for his forever home at Brightside Animal Center in Redmond!
Handsome Hank loves his toys and getting the zoomies. He's full of happy puppy energy and is looking for someone that will play with him and give him all of the love!
"He is just a very rambunctious boy. He does not understand how big he is. His size is is an understatement to him. We've been doing just a lot of those basic trainings with him," said Hannah Loftis, the shelter manager at Brightside. "Our volunteers have said that he's done phenomenal with walking on the leash...His previous owner did state that one of his favorite things to do is grab things that you love, like sandals or different things, and put them in different places in the home. So that is just something to to possibly work on."
Hannah said Hank has done well with other dogs and adults that he's met.
"He did come to us as a surrender, so we do know some information about him. He has been around other dogs and has done really well," Hannah said. "We're doing slow introductions with making friends here at the shelter because he can just be very excited to meet them. We do not know how he does with kiddos but he has done very well with all adults that he has met so far."
One of Hank's favorite things is peanut butter! If you're looking for a dog that is sure to always make you smile, Hank's your guy. Head on down to Brightside Animal Center in Redmond to meet him! They're open Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. until 5:30 p.m.
