Pet Pals: Kitten called Kiwi is ready for adoption

There’s a new furry face at the Humane Society of Central Oregon, and he’s ready to steal some hearts.

Amber from the Humane Society joined us for this week’s Pet Pals segment to introduce Kiwi, a two-month-old male kitten who’s just about to be available for adoption.

Kiwi is scheduled to be neutered by the shelter’s veterinarian team Monday and will be available for adoption at the shelter starting Tuesday at 10 a.m.

While the shelter’s feline friends are getting plenty of attention, there’s also some fun for the dog lovers. This weekend marks the final stop in the Humane Society’s annual Pup Crawl, a month-long fundraiser held across Central Oregon breweries.

Proceeds from the Pup Crawl go directly to helping local animals in need.

If you’re considering adopting a pet, Kiwi and many others are waiting for their forever homes at the Humane Society of Central Oregon.
