A Florida program helps bond seniors with older pets

FORT MEYERS, Fla. (WINK via CNN) -- A program on Florida's Gulf Coast helps unite senior citizens with senior pets in need of a new home

 The Gulf Coast Humane Society's Silver Paws VIP program matches senior pets who are 7 and older with adopters who are 65 or older. It includes their adoption fee being waived, as well as vet care for the life of the animal.
