ODOT Advises of Sisters Rodeo Hwy. 20 Traffic

ODOT is advising motorists to be watchful for heavy traffic in and near Sisters this week as the Sisters Rodeo gets under way.

New this year is a Wednesday evening event, the Sisters Bull Bash, which gets under way at 6:30PM. (Gates open at 4:30). Motorists can expect up to 20-minutes delay on US20 near the Sisters Rodeo grounds, between mileposts 3 and 5.

ODOT will establish traffic control for this event, and the other rodeo events during the weekend.

On Saturday, US20 will be closed in Sisters for the Rodeo Parade, which begins at 9:30AM. The Highway will re-open following the parade, but traffic control will remaining place at the Rodeo grounds, and traffic delays will occur.

Motorists are advised to use caution while driving in the area this week, anticipating heavy congestion.
