Redmond marijuana raid turns up 140 plants

A raid on a southwest Redmond home Tuesday turned up more than 140 marijuana plants and led to one woman’s arrest and charges against six other Redmond residents, police said.

The Redmond Police Department’s Street Crimes Team had received a complaint of a marijuana grow operation at 3206 SW Pumice Avenue, officers said.

An investigation led to issuance of a search warrant that was executed around 8 a.m. Tuesday, police said.

Seven people were in the home at the time of the raid, which turned up more than 140 illegal marijuana plants, growing at various stages, officers said.

The team dismantled the grow operation and arrested Crystal Kral, 40, on drug possession and manufacture charges, as well as manufacture of marijuana within 1,000 feet of a school.

Four people – Catherine Kral, 67; Lorrain Kral, 41; Alicia McMillian, 43, and Kimberly Harris, 38 – were charged with frequenting a place where drugs are used. Two others – Kirsa Kral, 24, and Dustin Das, 32 – also face a frequenting charge, as well as endangering the welfare of a minor.

Kral was booked into the Deschutes County Jail and released later Tuesday after posting 10 percent of $50,000 bail, a jail officer said.
