Woman arrested in NW Bend stabbing
A Bend woman was arrested Friday night on charges she stabbed a male acquaintance twice, seriously wounding him, police said.
Shortly before 9 p.m., police were dispatched to a reported assault at 318 NW Colorado Avenue, said Sgt. Nick Parker.
A 59-year-old man, whose name was not immediately released, pending notification of family, called 911 and reported he had been stabbed by an intruder, Parker said.
Officers arrived and found the man with two stab wounds to the abdomen. He was taken to St. Charles Medical Center-Bend with life-threatening injuries, Parker said.
Nicole Lynn Clark, 31, also of Bend, was arrested and taken to the Deschutes County Jail, where she remained held on $230,000 bail Saturday on charges of first-degree burglary and two counts each of first-degree assault and unlawful use of a weapon.
The investigation, which is continuing, determined Clark and the victim were acquaintances, Parker said.
