Bend Veterans Day participants sought

Parade organizers are seeking participants for the annual Veterans Day Parade of Bend. The parade will be held at 11 a.m. Sunday Nov 11, in downtown Bend.

Parade Grand Marshals to be honored will be Disabled American Veterans, “Fulfilling our promises to the men and women who served!”

Veterans, community organizations, schools, bands, businesses and individuals need to register at planning meetings slated for Oct. 1 and Oct. 15 at 6:00 pm at the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1643, 1503 N.E, Fourth St., Bend. Registration is free.
