Redmond Habitat wall-raising event set

Please come and join us for a Wall Raising Event at 10am on Tuesday the 23 rd of October at 950 SW 27 th Street in Redmond for our newest Habitat family, Jodi, George and Logan.

This is the official kick off of this project and we would like you to share in this very special gift. Our goals for the day are to stand up all of the pre-constructed walls of the house and apply the exterior sheeting.

It is a lot of fun to see how quickly this happens and gives everyone the opportunity to meet the family along with all of the other new friends that will be on site to help.

Coffee, snacks and beverages will be on hand so you need only bring your passion to help this family build their new home!!

Redmond Habitat for Humanity: Redmond Habitat for Humanity is an ecumenical Christian housing ministry dedicated to providing simple, decent, affordable housing to qualifying low-income families in the Redmond area so that they can improve both their lives and the community in which they share. Our philosophy at the Redmond Affiliate is that the economically disadvantaged need capital, not charity, and co-workers, not caseworkers, in order to obtain a simple decent home in a decent community. The capital for building comes from gift and no-interest loans. These donations are made by individuals, churches, corporations and foundations.
