OnPoint Credit Union stays as WinterFest sponsor

OnPoint Community Credit Union, the largest credit union in Oregon, will serve as the title sponsor of the 14 th annual OnPoint Bend WinterFest held February 15-17, in Bend.

Attendees of the event in Bend’s Old Mill District will experience live music, ski and snowboard competitions, art and artisan food marketplace, and activities for children.

Entries for the 2013 WinterFest Poster Art Contest will be accepted through December 3, 2012. The contest is open to 9-12 grade students in Crook, Deschutes and Jefferson counties.

Ten finalists will have their art displayed in OnPoint’s Bend Downtown branch, 950 NW Bond St., December 10-15. During that time, members of the community are invited to vote to select one winner whose art will be featured on a 2013 Bend WinterFest poster. A portion of this year’s Bend WinterFest button sale proceeds will be donated to local nonprofit Saving Grace—an organization that provides services to those who have experienced domestic violence.

“OnPoint is pleased to continue as title sponsor of Bend WinterFest and offer the public an opportunity to support a nonprofit like Saving Grace through our button sales program,” said Rob Stuart, OnPoint’s president and CEO. “It’s a great community event that celebrates the culture and winter activities that Bend has to offer.”
