Four arrested in Crook County meth raid
Drug agents and police, including Central Oregon’s SWAT team, raided a home in western Crook County early Sunday morning, arresting four people and seizing more than a pound of methamphetamine worth about $25,000 on the street, officers said late Tuesday.
Central Oregon Drug Enforcement Team detectives were assisted by the Central Oregon Emergency Response Team, Crook County sheriff’s deputies and Prineville police as they executed the drug-related search warrant around 6:15 a.m. Sunday at 5650 Lone Pine Road, north of Highway 126 and east of Terrebonne, said CODE Team Lt. Ken Mannix.
The raid resulted from a long-term CODE Team investigation into trafficking of large quantities of meth throughout Central Oregon, Mannix said.
Colt Sip, 46; Larry Bush, 49: Terri Goodling, 43; and Michelle Lancaster, 47, were in the home and arrested without incident, the lieutenant said.
They remained in jail late Tuesday on drug charges; Sipp and Goodling are charged with possession, distribution and manufacture, and also face conspiracy charges, while Bush and Lancaster are charged with possession. Sipp and Bush are being held on outstanding warrants from other jurisdictions.
Mannix said all four were Crook County residents, but jail records showed Sipp is from Baker City, Bush and Lancaster from Hermiston, and Goodling from Prineville.
Along with about 1.2 pounds worth of methamphetamine, the raid turned up scales, packaging material, meth pipes, drug records and other evidence of meth sales and manufacturing.
