Bend Habitat ReStore adds ‘upcycled’ merchandise

KTVZ

Bend Area Habitat for Humanity is excited to announce the launch of the Bend ReStore’s new “line” of upcycled merchandise: CUP (Creative Upcycled Projects).

This volunteer-led and executed concept is designed to inspire creativity and provide guidance through the process of up-cycling.

Starting with broken, repeatedly discounted, or overlooked ReStore merchandise, our CUP volunteers add some paint, or fabric, or other “scrounged” materials and produce fun and funky home furnishings and dcor for sale in the store.

In tandem with our upcycle-focused social media content, CUP merchandise adds a bit more FUN to the shopping experience, and provides a great new volunteer opportunity for our community. ReStore: the Re-use revolution starts here!
