The Bethlehem Inn has been selected by Webfoot Painting for their $5,000 2013 Painting Charity Giveaway.

The Inn has three buildings that have only received minor paint touch up during the last 10 years. The Seriously Great Painters of Webfoot Painting will arrive this spring to address the buildings’ painting needs.

Each year, Webfoot Painting selects a local non-profit to be the recipient of their Charity Painting Giveway.

This year, 30 worthwhile charities were nominated. The Inn was selected giving the Webfoot team the opportunity to help transform the exterior of the Inn’s three buildings used to provide shelter to over 1,000 adults and children experiencing homelessness every year.

The Bethlehem Inn is Central Oregon’s ONLY emergency shelter; providing shelter, food and support to over 1,000 adults and children last year; 63,000 meals were served to those in crisis. BEND, OR, Mar 12, 2013 – Webfoot Painting Co., a leading residential and commercial repaint company serving Central Oregon, met last week to vote on who would win their annual giveaway. Once again the vote was very close, coming down to two individual families and 2 non-profits. In the final round of voting, the Bethlehem Inn was selected as the 2013 winner of $5000 in painting services.

“With over 30 nominations this year, all exceedingly worthy of this giveaway, it was incredible difficult to select a winner” says Webfoot co-owner Travis Ulrich. “In the end the voters were excited to be able to help out a large number of people over a single family.” Ulrich went on to say, “The Bethlehem Inn has three buildings that haven’t been painted in over 10 years. This week we’re meeting with Gwen and the rest of the staff to see how far we can stretch this giveaway.” All those involved are very proud to be able to help preserve their structures and provide a much needed facelift for the 1000 plus residents served by the Bethlehem Inn.

Webfoot Painting would like to thank all those that participated and submitted nominations. They would also like to remind everyone that did not win that next year will bring another opportunity, so they encourage those people to resubmit their nominations next January.

When the weather improves, theSeriously Great Paintersof Bend will attack the exterior of the Bethlehem Inn with sanders, primer, brushes, and paint donated by Sherwin Williams and some great color selections courtesy of ORSA Design’s color consultation.

Webfoot Painting began collecting nominations via their website on January 3, 2012 and wrapped up on February 28 th . The only criteria for submitting a nomination was that you have a compelling story of why you feel you or someone else you know and care about, deserves the free painting services. This is their fourth year of doing this giveaway.
