Two drivers received minor injuries Sunday afternoon and one was cited after a two-car traffic crash on Highway 97 about five miles south of Crescent, Oregon State Police said.

Around 4:40 p.m., a 1994 Honda Accord driven by Raymond N. Anderson, 31, from Warm Springs, was northbound on Highway 97 near milepost 191 when it traveled off the roadway, troopers said.

As it came back onto the road, the Honda crossed in front of a northbound 2005 Nissan passenger car driven by Donetta Tucker, 61, of La Pine, troopers said.

The Nissan struck the Honda on the driver side and both cars continued across the southbound lanes, coming to rest off the southbound shoulder.

Anderson and Tucker were taken by Chemult EMS to St. Charles-Bend, where they were treated for minor injuries and later released, troopers said.

Anderson was cited by OSP on a misdemeanor charge of driving with a suspended license, as well as careless driving and possession of less than an ounce of marijuana.

OSP was assisted at the scene by Crescent Rural Fire Protection, Chemult EMS and ODOT.
