Bend Spay and Neuter offers ‘Beat the Heat’ special
Bend Spay and Neuter Project wants Central Oregon to “Beat the Heat” this April, so they are offering $10 spay surgeries for female cats all month long!
This program is being offered in an effort to reduce the number of unwanted kittens who will end up at the Humane Society of Central Oregon this spring and summer. The $10 price is $35 off the normal cost of spay surgery for female cats!
Many people don’t realize that female cats can become pregnant as early as 5 months old! They can also have up to three litters of kittens per season, which means one cat can turn into many cats in just a few short months!
Bend Spay and Neuter Project advises that all cat owners to have their female cats spayed before they are 4 months old to avoid accidental litters. Our local shelters are filled with adoptable cats, and sadly, more are on the way.
