Redmond call center plans job fair

Oregon-based Consumer Cellular, the number one rated cell phone service provider in the U.S. for the third consecutive year and the exclusive wireless provider for AARP members, will host a job fair on Monday, Apr. 15 at its contact center in Redmond.

After opening the Redmond contact center in August 2012, Consumer Cellular announced plans to hire more than 100 employees in 2012 and continue growth to reach more than 500 within three years. With a current workforce of more than 220 in Redmond and a hiring pace of 60 new employees per month, Consumer Cellular is holding a job fair to meet its demand.

Seeking qualified customer service representatives to work at the Redmond contact center, Consumer Cellular offers competitive compensation and benefits, including 100 percent paid medical/dental/vision (for employee only), cell phone allowance, 401(k) match and profit-sharing, paid time off, holiday pay and more.

Are knowledgeable with Windows & MS Office; Have stable employment history with a track record of success; Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills; and Are able to multi-task and explain issues in simple terms.
