Register now for the Third Annual Bend Honda Happy Girls Run on May 25 -26, 2013!

The Happy Girls Run includes an all-women’s Half Marathon, 10k and 5k race, and the Happy Little Kids run for children ages 3-10. Join thousands of women in beautiful Bend for this annual tradition, which features pre- and post-race parties, special entertainment, and fabulous gift bags for all participants.

Sarah Bowen Shea, co-author of “Run Like a Mother,” will return to emcee the 2013 event and the Saturday Women’s Expo at Riverbend Park in Bend’s Old Mill District. Saturday Expo
The Women’s Expo kicks off the Happy Girls Run festivities on Saturday, May 25 in Riverbend Park. In addition to packet pick-up, the Women’s Expo brings together participants and guests for a pre-race party featuring free fitness classes, chiropractors and physical therapy booths, cocktails highlighting Crater Lake Vodka, beautiful jewelry from local artisans, and delicious and nutritious pre-race food. Sarah Bowen Shea, co-author of Run Like a Mother and Train Like a Mother, will emcee the Expo’s events and be available for book signings and race tips during the day.

2013 Race Details
The half marathon, 10k and 5k runs begin on the banks of the beautiful Deschutes River in Bend’s Old Mill District. The courses include a mix of gentle trails, groomed paths, and paved surfaces, making the Happy Girls Run courses are perfect for first-time racers and seasoned runners alike. The half marathon kicks off Sunday, May 26 at 9 a.m., followed by the 10k at 9:15 a.m. and the 5k at 9:30 a.m. The Happy Little Kids Run takes place on Saturday, May 25 at 1:30 p.m. For full race details, visit www.happygirlsrun.com/race-info.
