73rd annual Sisters Rodeo comes to a close

KTVZ

The Sisters Rodeo wrapped up it’s 73rd annual event Sunday with an afternoon performance.

Hundreds of people filled the stands under blue skies in summer-like warmth to watch the cowboys and cowgirls compete in everything from barrel racing to bull riding.

“You know, its right up there with the at the top (rodeos),” bull rider Seth Glause said. “The committee here does so much for us. They started doing Xtreme Bulls last year, and I mean, it has just made it that much better for the cowboys.”

“It’s everything that everyone has ever told me it would be,” said Ram Tucks marketing rep. Del Mark said. “It is and it has been a beautiful experience for me, and I hope to get to come back for years on end from now on.”

Each year, people from across the country come to watch and participate in the ‘Biggest Little Show in the World.”
