Bend seeks grant project volunteers

The city of Bend is seeking volunteers to participate as members of the Bend Central District Multi-modal Mixed-use Area (MMA) Project Team.

The city was awarded a state Transportation Growth Management Grant to designate the Bend Central District as an MMA. This work will build upon work previously completed for the Central Area Plan and focus specifically within an area along the 3 rd Street corridor, east of the Parkway, referred to as the Bend Central District.

The Project Team is a citizen committee that will meet periodically throughout the TGM Grant process to provide insight into the vision for designating the Bend Central District as an MMA.

All applicants must be residents of the city of Bend. Applications will be accepted until 5 p.m. on Friday, June 28.
