Volunteers are vital to Camp Fire! Volunteer needs include leading an after-school program, joining the Board of Directors, becoming a Board Committee Member, and helping at events or in the office.
All of Camp Fire Central Oregon’s volunteers, regardless of their position or time commitment, contribute to Camp Fire’s mission to foster self-confidence, self-reliance, leadership skills, environmental stewardship, and community involvement in young people, while guiding them to discover their passion-their spark.
Camp Fire provides training materials and ongoing support to its adult and youth volunteers.

Founded in 1916, the Central Oregon council now serves about 500 youths and adults throughout Central Oregon and offers weekly after-school programs, summer camps, and workshops for area youth.
