Horse found in Terrebonne; owner sought

KTVZ

The Deschutes County Sheriff’s Office said Wednesday it is looking for the owner of a horse found wandering in the southern Terrebonne area last Friday.

A local citizen found the horse at large, and a check with area residents did not find an owner.

The horse is now at the sheriff’s office’s Large Animal Rescue Facility in Bend.

Anyone with information about the horse’s possible owner, or those with an ownership claim are asked to call the non-emergency dispatch number at (541) 693-6911, and reference incident number 13-225435.

Those with a claim of possible ownership will be asked for more descriptive information on the horse, deputies said.
