‘Help-Portrait’ supports Bethlehem Inn residents

KTVZ

The Bethlehem Inn announced today the Help Portrait 2013 event scheduled for Saturday, December 7.

On that date, all interested Inn residents will be offered appointments with professional hairstylists and make-up artists from Lemon Drop in Bend. Residents will also have the opportunity to have portraits taken by local, professional photographers, Steve Heinrichs and Ginger Sanders.

Help-Portrait is a global movement of photographers, hairstylists and makeup artists using their time, tools and expertise to give back to those in need.

With the holidays fast-approaching, this is a chance to give the disadvantaaged single adults and families at the Bethlehem Inn a chance to have something they’ve never had before…. a portrait of themselves or one of their family.

The Bethlehem Inn is committed to transforming lives with shelter, help and hope by providing a warm bed, hot shower, 3 meals each day and support services for adults and families experiencing homelessness in Central Oregon.

Each year, the Inn provides shelter and support to over 1,100 individuals across a range of needs. To make a donation and learn more about how you can be a part of Central Oregon’s solution to end homelessness, please call 541.322.8768 or visit www.bethleheminn.org. Donations may also be mailed to Bethlehem Inn, P.O. Box 8540, Bend, OR 97708.
