Bank donates $2,500 to Ski Inn workers’ fund
Bank of the Cascades has announced a $2,500 contribution to the Sisters’ Ski Inn employee donation fund.
The bank team helped local community members open the account to assist Inn employees displaced from their jobs after a tree fell and damaged the restaurant. Bank of the Cascades leadership decided to make a contribution as well.
“It means a lot to us to be able to help our neighbors through difficult times,” said Davina Luz, branch manager for Bank of the Cascades in Sisters. “Because we’re a community bank, we can act quickly when there is a local need. This is an especially tough time of year to be displaced from a job and we wanted to do the right thing for our neighbors.”
According to Luz, Bank of the Cascades has been part of the Sisters community for more than 26 years.
“We are grateful for the local customer and community loyalty and we are honored to be able to give back,” Luz added.
