KTVZ

Family Access Network Foundation announced that Rob Fincham has accepted a position on our Foundation Board. The mission of the Family Access Network is to improve lives by ensuring all children in Deschutes County have access to basic-need services.

Rob Fincham is a Financial Advisor with Fincham Financial Group and Eagle Strategies, LLC. He moved to Bend in 1961 and is a graduate of Bend Senior High School and Portland State University. Rob completed his Master of Science, Financial Services (MSFS) degree from the American College in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania.

His wife Jill, a professional educator, credits FAN advocates for keeping recently identified “at risk” kids in school and their overall positive impact on children and families in need.

Rob had recently completed a four year term on a national Advisory Board when the opportunity to champion FAN presented itself. After researching the facts, and then searching his heart, he decided that the FAN board was where he wanted to give back to his community.

Rob is an avid musician, singer, and songwriter. He can also be found on the links and the slopes. We’re looking forward to Rob sharing his passion and skills on our FAN Foundation Board.

FAN began in January 1993 and currently employs 26 advocates in 46 public schools (K-12) and three early childhood sites. FAN strives to improve lives by ensuring all children in Deschutes County have access to basic-need services. FAN is unique to Deschutes County, utilizing advocates to efficiently reach and connect disadvantaged children and families with basic needs, such as food, shelter, clothing, and health care.
