Deschutes Bridge snow gate opened
The Deschutes County Road Department has opened the snow gate near the intersection with FS Road 4270 at Deschutes Bridge on Cascade Lakes Highway. The road has been cleared of snow from the Klamath County line to just above Elk Lake, where a temporary gate is currently in place.
The Road Department will continue to clear the snow from the remaining section of highway between Elk Lake and Mt. Bachelor with a full opening of Cascade Lakes Highway projected by Memorial Day Weekend.
