Mt. Bachelor announcers summer bike park season pass

Mt. Bachelor announced Thursday it will offer a limited number of full-season passes for its new downhill Bike Park.

The passes, priced at $299 for all ages, will be available during a 96-hour sale beginning at noon Thursday, May 8th and ending at noon on Monday, May 12th, or while supplies last.

Mt. Bachelor is also introducing a new lesson program for its downhill bike park. Offered to mountain bikers of all ability levels ages 8 – 15, the Gravity Bike Camp will operate three consecutive weeks, one day a week per session, during July and August. Camps sessions will run Wednesday and Thursday of each week.

A $79 discount will be offered for those who are interested in registering an individual camper for multiple Gravity Bike Camp sessions for a total cost of $399. The cost of the camps includes transportation to and from the mountain from the Park and Ride location in Bend.

Gravity Bike Camp downhill mountain bike lesson programs are on sale now, with limited availability.

Additional Bike Park products will include full day lift tickets priced at $34 for all ages, afternoon tickets starting at 1:00pm for $29 and a twilight ticket on Fridays and Saturdays – valid 3:00pm to 7:00pm – for $19.

Reduced rate multi-day lift tickets will also be available, with two consecutive days for $63 and three consecutive days for $87.

A non-transferable 4-Pack product will be offered and valid any four days of the biking season for $99. The 4-Pack will be available to purchase beginning Thursday, May 8th and will be sold at the $99 rate throughout the summer season.

Pending snow melt and weather conditions, Mt. Bachelor is gearing up for its first full summer of offering lift-served downhill mountain biking. Mt. Bachelor plans to open the Bike Park Friday, July 11th with daily operations through September 1st, 2014. Beginning September 3rd, the Bike Park will be open Fridays through Sundays through October 12th, with an additional day on Columbus Day, Monday, October 13th.

Mt. Bachelor’s additional summer activities, including the popular Sunset Dinners fine dining experience and scenic lift rides are scheduled to open Friday, July 4th for the summer season. Disc Golf will also be offered once the course is clear of snow.
