St. Charles Health System recently reopened outpatient rehabilitation services at the Madras hospital.
The clinic provides multidisciplinary rehab services, including physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy for adult and geriatric patients with a variety of diagnoses, including neurologic deficits.
“Often these patients need more than one discipline to recover,” said Laurie McCall, manager of outpatient therapy services for St. Charles. “Speech pathology will offer evaluation and treatment of swallowing disorders, in addition to cognitive and communication skills.”
The St. Charles Madras rehab clinic, which opened May 1 at 470 NE A Street, also offers pediatric occupational and speech therapy.
“Our goal is to bring better health and better care to each of the communities we serve,” McCall said.
