Redmond schools set Summer Meals Program

The Redmond School District has announced its free Summer Meals Program schedule for the summer.

The program allows any Redmond children who are 18 years of age and under to receive a nutritious breakfast and lunch at no charge. No registration is required.

The Redmond School District participates in the USDA Summer Food Service Program to provide meals at nine locations in the community throughout the summer months:

Sam Johnson Park

333 SW 15th Street

Dates: June 16 – August 22

Breakfast: 8:30 a.m. – 8:45 a.m.

Lunch: 11:45 a.m. – 12:15 p.m.

Terrebonne Community School

1199 B St., Terrebonne, Ore.

Dates: June 16 – August 22

Breakfast: 8:30 a.m. – 8:45 a.m.

Lunch: 11:30 a.m. – 11:50 a.m.

Centennial Park (lunch served only)

725 SW Evergreen Ave.

Dates: June 16 – August 22

Lunch: 11:30 a.m. – 12:15 p.m.

Highland Baptist Church (lunch served only)

3100 SW Highland Ave.

Dates: June 23 – June 27 (During Vacation Bible School Week)

Lunch: 12:00 p.m. – 12:20 p.m.

Redmond Boys and Girls Club (lunch served only)

1379 SW 15th Street

Dates: June 16 – August 22

Lunch Times: 11:45 a.m. – 12:05 p.m.

THE FOLLOWING MEAL SITES WILL BE AVAILABLE DURING SUMMER SCHOOL PROGRAM

John Tuck Elementary School

209 N. 10th St.

Dates: July 14 – August 14

Breakfast: During Summer School Program

Lunch: During Summer School Program

Sage Elementary School

2790 SW Wickiup

Dates: July 14 – August 14

Breakfast: During Summer School Program

Lunch: During Summer School Program

Redmond High School

675 SW Rimrock Way

Dates: August 4 – August 21

Breakfast: During Summer School Program

Lunch: During Summer School Program

Ridgeview High School

4555 SW Elkhorn

Dates: August 4 – August 21

Breakfast: During Summer School Program

Lunch: During Summer School Program

The summer meals provided at RHS and Ridgeview in August are for students attending the district’s Camp 9 program.
