Foundation awards $20,000 to Bethlehem Inn

The Bethlehem Inn announced Monday it has been awarded a $20,000 grant from the Oregon Community Foundation.

This grant funding represents year one of support to increase Inn capacity to meet the growing need for programmatic assistance and services for Inn residents along with expanding the Inn’s volunteer outreach capacity to ensure the ongoing delivery of emergency meals to residents and others in crisis.

The OCF donor advised funds that are supporting this grant include: Robert W. Chandler II Fund of The Oregon Community Foundation, Amabel E. Hayward Fund of The Oregon Community Foundation, F.J. Hodecker Family Fund of The Oregon Community Foundation and Evelyn L. Jones Fund of The Oregon Community Foundation.

OCF works with individuals, families, businesses and organizations to create charitable funds to support the community causes they care about. Through these funds, OCF awards more than $60 million annually in grants and scholarships.
