Benham Falls trail bridge closed temporarily

A temporary closure for the Benham Falls trail bridge is in place today through the week. The closure is expected to be lifted on Saturday.

The closure is for public safety while a connector section is installed in the bridge. The bridge accesses Lava Lands from Benham East as a part of the Sunriver to Lava Lands Paved Path.

The closure includes:

Benham Falls is along the 41 Road.
Benham Falls trail bridge
Benham Falls east day use area

From the 41 Road there will be no access to the trail bridge. The Benham Falls east day use area will be open; however, no fees will be charged at the site during the closure. The Benham Falls east day use area should be accessed via Forest Road 41.
