City water tap booth at Bite of Bend

Come fill your water bottles with Bend’s award-winning drinking water at the City of Bend’s water tap booth at the Bite of Bend festival this weekend, from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday, June 28 and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday, June 29.

The Bite of Bend is a food festival that celebrates local food and libations. It’s a great opportunity to celebrate great local drinking water too.

At the booth, you can visit with city staff and elected officials, learn more about where your drinking water comes from, pick up water conservation tips and tools, give feedback on utility bills and win prizes.

The city’s interactive water tap booth will be located within Locavore Alley, on Minnesota Avenue between Bond and Wall streets. The colorful water tap display illustrates Bend’s drinking water system and dispenses drinking water for thirsty fair goers.
