Did You Know?

KTVZ

Did you know that Central Oregon boasts some of the most fertile land in the NW region? With over 300 days of sunshine per year it is unlike any other part of Oregon. Pristine wilderness, extraordinary riding trails, lush pastures, river canyons, wild and scenic riverways and blue-ribbon trout streams make the land here very desirable.

The area offers some of the most unique opportunities for purchasing farm, ranch and recreation properties with everything from hunting lodges to cattle ranches, seed farms to equestrian centers and everything in between. Lower Valley Turf Farm in Terrebonne is not only a former potato farm, it is actually one of the highest producing seed-crop farms in all of Central Oregon. It provides turf to the Bend La Pine School District among many others. It is also home to one of the biggest wells in Oregon named “Big Bertha” (Google that!). And strangely this farm has its own micro-climate where temperatures are at least 5 degrees warmer than anywhere else in the area!

Farm, ranch and recreational properties are abundant in our market place. In the past 12 months 42 farm and ranch properties have sold (per MLS of Central Oregon) ranging in value from $99,988 to $8.7 million!
