Natural gas project resumes in SE Bend

Cascade Natural Gas Company has begun work on Phase III of the Bend Gas Line Replacement Project. For the next few weeks, pipeline replacement crews will be working on SE Second Street, between Scott and Wilson.

This Tuesday crews will begin installing a 2″steel main on SE Scott St. and byThursday the 17 th , crews will move on to SE 2 nd St and begin installing a 2″ steel gas main. They will start at SE Scott St., and work south on SE 2 nd .

If you travel Second Street regularly, it’s be wise to seek an alternate route this week, officials said.
