Update on SE Bend natural gas line replacement work

Cascade Natural Gas Company has begun work on Phase III of the Bend Gas Line Replacement Project. For the next few weeks, pipeline replacement crews will be working on SE Second Street, between Scott and Wilson.

Pipeline crews have completed installing a 2″ steel gas main on SE Scott St and began installing another 2″ steel main on SE 2 nd . Crews will be moving south on SE 2 nd St. this week, and should reach the intersection of SE 2 nd & SE Miller Ave. onWednesday. They will be working in this general vicinity the rest of the week.

If you travel Second Street regularly, it might be wise to seek an alternate route for a few more days.
