395,000-acre SE Oregon fires 90 pct. contained
The Buzzard Complex of fires that burned almost 400,000 acres of rangeland in southeast Oregon were 90 percent contained by Wednesday and crews were helping battle other blazes sparked by new lightning in the area.

The Buzzard Complex is currently managed by Oregon Interagency Incident Management Team 4 (Brian J. Watts). The fires are located 45 SE of Burn

Fire Information:
Buzzard Complex resources are currently assisting local units with multiple Initial Attack fires.
Resources continue to be demobilized and reassigned or returned to home for rest before next assignment.
Fire maps no longer needed for operations are being donated to Harney County Search and Rescue.
Extra batteries and non-perishable food from bag lunches will be donated to Crane Union High School.
Fire Weather:
It rained over a majority of the fire on Tuesday. Some areas received up to 2″ of precipitation.
A dry cold front is expected to pass over the fire area today. An increase in wind is anticipated.
