Bend UGB plan meetings scheduled

TECHNICAL ADVISORY COMMITTEE MEETINGS

The City of Bend has formed three technical advisory committees (TACs) to help complete the work necessary for the Urban Growth Boundary (UGB) Remand.

New TAC Member orientation – Tuesday, July 29, 2014 from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm – an orientation meeting is being held for new TAC members in the Community Room of the Bend Metro Parks and Recreation District (799 SW Columbia Street)

Residential TAC Meeting – Monday, August 4, 2014 from 10:00 am to 12:30 pm in the Bend City Hall Council Chambers (710 NW Wall Street). This committee will begin work on the residential lands and housing related remand work.

Employment TAC Meeting – Monday, August 4, 2014 from 2:30 pm to 5:00 pm in the Bend City Hall Council Chambers (710 NW Wall Street). This committee will begin work on the employment lands related remand work.

Boundary and Growth Scenarios TAC – Tuesday, August 5, 2014 from 10:00 am to 12:30 pm in the Bend City Hall Council Chambers (710 NW Wall Street). This committee will begin work on developing a methodology for evaluating potential UGB expansion areas.

If you interested in just learning more about the project and how you can get involved, you’re invited to stop by City Hall Council Chambers on Tuesday, August 5, 2014 from 1:30 pm to 4:00 pm. Project staff will be available to answer questions and provide information about the project and future meetings.
