Bend natural gas line project continues

Cascade Natural Gas crews will continue working on Phase 3 of the Gas PipelineReplacementProjectthis week in southeast Bend.

Expect some congestion on SE Second Street between Vine and Willow, as pipeline crews test, purge and pack a new section of the gas line, then begin installing a new 2″ steel gas main.

Cascade Natural Gas also reminds you that today Monday (8-11) is National 811 Awareness Day. Even backyard projects can expose buried utility lines, so always remember to call 811 before you dig, and a locator crew will come out a mark utility lines free of charge.
