Family Access Network Foundation announces that Lisa Smith has accepted a position on the Foundation Board.

The mission of the Family Access Network is to improve lives by ensuring all children in Deschutes County have access to basic-need services.

Lisa Smith is a broker with Harcourts The Garner Group Real Estate. Lisa and her husband Davis have lived in Bend for 19 years and although job opportunities have taken them to other parts of the Northwest, they always seem to make it back home to Bend.

Prior to her career as a real estate broker, Lisa worked in the pharmaceutical industry doing sales and training for several companies over a period of twenty years. Lisa has known several members of the FAN board and was inspired by the difference they make in the lives of families and children.

She is honored to be part of such a dynamic group of individuals. When she isn’t busy working Lisa enjoys spending time with her husband and their two children, ages 9 and 7, and their new puppy.

FAN began in January 1993 and currently employs 26 advocates in 46 public schools (K-12) and three early childhood sites. FAN strives to improve lives by ensuring all children in Deschutes County have access to basic-need services. FAN is unique to Deschutes County, utilizing advocates to efficiently reach and connect disadvantaged children and families with basic needs, such as food, shelter, clothing, and health care.
