Bend natural gas line replacement work continues

Cascade Natural Gas crews will continue working on Phase 3 of the Gas PipelineReplacementProjectthis week.

Officials said to expect a fair amount of congestion on SE Second Street as crews work on installing new lines between Taft and Wilson avenues.

When the crew gets to the intersection of Second and Wilson about Tuesday, congestion will be severe, and down to one last for a couple days. Please avoid the area of Second and Wilson this week if at all possible, they said.
