McLeod named BMC chief operatng officer

Christy McLeod has been promoted to Chief Operating Officer for Bend Memorial Clinic.

In her new role, McLeod will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day clinical operations as well as clinic growth and development. Most recently, McLeod was Chief Marketing Officer for BMC, responsible for overseeing marketing operations as well as strategic planning for the clinic.

“Christy will play a key role in positioning Bend Memorial Clinic for continued marketplace success,” said Greg Hagfors, CEO of Bend Memorial Clinic. “She brings a diverse set of leadership skills, extensive strategic planning expertise and a successful track record that we will leverage across the organization.”

McLeod has over 24 years of experience in international business, strategic planning, marketing communication and logistics for global companies and has worked on seven Olympic Games including program development with major corporations including Coca-Cola, Visa, GE, Samsung, Panasonic and NBC.

McLeod also serves on the Central Oregon Health Council Operations Committee, the Education Foundation for the Bend-LaPine Schools and the OSU-Cascades Campus Expansion Advisory Committee.
