Dutch Bros. raises $3,106 for two high schools

On Oct. 1, Dutch Bros. Coffee of Central Oregon celebrated it’s new location at 2155 NE Hwy 20, by banding together with the community to raise $3,106 for two local high schools.

To raise funds, all 16-oz. drinks for $1, including specialty coffee, smoothies, freezes and our private-label energy drink Dutch Bros. Blue Rebel TM . Proceeds will benefit Mountain View High School and Bend Senior High .

“It was an incredibly fun day,” said Kaeylyn Costa, Dutch Bros. Central Oregon marketing coordinator. “We are so excited to support the schools;one school has even told us they are purchasing two water fountains.”

Dutch Bros. Central Oregon has been serving the area for ten years and owners Bill and Carol Smith are enthusiastic about their new location’s drive-thru and walk-in feature. “We love being a part of this community and look forward to the next ten years,” said Bill.

Dutch Bros. Central Oregon pour thousands annually into local causes, including Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Oregon, Healthy Beginnings, Neighbor Impact, the Muscular Dystrophy Association and Habitat for Humanity.

“I love that Dutch Bros. gives us a platform to give back to our community,” says Carol. “It’s so much more than just a good cup of coffee.”

Dutch Bros. Central Oregon employs 80 full-time and part-time local employees.
