Redmond Scouts collecting food on Saturday

Redmond Boy Scouts will be out collecting food Saturday in neighborhoods to help feed those in need, and they ask residents to help them out.

Their food drive was delayed last week due to the weather conditions.

1) Please fill a bag with non-perishable food items: canned fruits and vegetables, dried pasta, hot and cold cereal, tomato soups, crme soups, peanut butter, tuna fish and similar items. Sorry, home-canned foods cannot be accepted.

2) Leave the filled bag at your front door where it is visible to the road on SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 22, 2014 before 9:00 AM rain or shine. The Boy Scouts, Cub Scouts and Girl Scouts of Redmond will be by to pick it up. All donation food will stay in Redmond to help the needy.

3) If the Scouts miss you NOVEMBER 22, 2014, please call a food agency listed below:
