NeighborImpact announces new board leaders
A new slate of officers will lead the NeighborImpact Board of Directors starting in January.
After two years of leadership, Board Chair Susan Bailey has passed on the gavel and will be replaced by in-coming chair, Chad Carpenter.
The NeighborImpact board is designed to be diverse, representing all three counties and elected officials, the economically disadvantaged and community members bringing expertise from the fields of business, industry, labor, religious, welfare and education or other major groups and interests in the community.
Incoming president Chad Carpenter is the executive director of The Landing in Prineville but will be relocating to La Pine in the new year to become pastor of Calvary Chapel.

The board of directors plays an important role in helping NeighborImpact staff better serve the economic and social interests of Central Oregon families and individuals.
They provide strategic direction, financial oversight, and oversee a diversity of programs that help meet basic human needs for food and shelter, while enriching people’s lives by providing access to education, financial skills, and hope for the future.
NeighborImpact, a 21 Cares for Kids partner, is a nonprofit organization providing critical services to approximately 55,000 Central Oregonians in the Central Oregon area annually and is among the region’s largest employers.
