Tax return help available in Bend, Redmond, Warm Springs

AARP/TaxAide is the nation’s largest free, volunteer-run tax assistance and preparation service.

AARP has been partnered with the Internal Revenue Service since 1968, as part of the IRS Volunteer Income Tax Assistance & Tax Counseling for the Elderly programs.

However, there is no requirement for AARP membership or restrictions in age or income level to take advantage of the service.

All AARP volunteer tax preparers are tested and certified annually by the IRS. Federal and Oregon returns prepared by TaxAide are E-Filed usually within two hours of completion.

In the Redmond/Madras/Prineville area, call [541] 526-3834 for an appointment. AARP/TaxAide service is located at the NeighborImpact center, 2303 SW First Street, Redmond. Tax preparations begin on Monday, February 2 (M-F) until April 15. We have begun scheduling these appointments.
