City of Bend launches biz-focused newsletter

KTVZ

The city of Bend’s Business Advocacy program is producing a new electronic newsletter to keep businesses with a city business license up to date on information that may impact their decisions. Businesses that don’t have the license will not receive the newsletter.

You can see the April newsletter at www.bendoregon.gov/businessnewsletter. To sign up for future newsletters, update your email address by calling 541-388-5580 and pressing 8 for the business license selection.

The first issue was distributed in February. In February and March, about 40 percent of recipients opened the newsletter and navigated to items of interest. After the release of the March newsletter, the City’s Business Advocate received requests from businesses to be added to the distribution list, which suggests that we may not have an accurate email address for every business with a business license.

In addition to the newsletter, our website has information on what the City’s Economic Development Board (BEDAB) has scheduled each month. If you see something interesting, join us, the meetings are open to the public. You can also keep up to date on City business news and developments by reading our blog at www.bendforbusiness.com.
